What is a Lightning Protection System?

A Lightning Protection System (LPS) is designed to protect structures from damage due to lightning strikes by intercepting such strikes and safely passing their extremely high currents to the ground.

Modern Active Lightning Rods (ESE - Early Streamer Emission) provide an expanded radius of protection compared to traditional passive rods. They actively generate an upward streamer to capture the lightning bolt earlier, making them ideal for wide-area coverage such as factories, stadiums, and open fields.
